How am I to spend this monsoon?

 It starts in the pit of my stomach And reins in the heart Which once subdued  Makes it reign supreme Now, it is unamenable to reason Please do ask of it, to leave you in peace Though given it's string of victories it is unlikely  I urge you to persist though I am sure it will reply  If you ask with sincerity, "How am I to spend this monsoon? "

Mother Goddess

Please mother Goddess of the mountains Pacify me in my dreams I am tormented by her thoughts She keeps fierce company that slanders me Anger boils over and transforms into heartche I kept it as a souvenir for myself And now it stays It never goes away So please mother Goddess of the mountains I have had enough suffering Lead me to your pure streams Where I can rest submerged in the cold When I stop feeling the hate and anger  And when I become devoid of feeling and hurting I will know that I have reached

Changing seasons

Her raiment changed with the seasons  Of that I was aware But her face changed too I was pushed into self-doubt The sun had exacted a price on her.

Dugong

She is my orca, my beluga and my dugong So cute and fat and cuddly She is also smart  Also, she can be carnivorous and herbivorus too It's undisputed she rules the sea

Deeper practise

 She talks lesser to laypersons now,  And deepens her practice, The forest which would have been her realm a millennia ago Is now replaced by the bustling city I remember a person from millennia past, an attendant to Siddhartha His name is one with her

Heartsick

 I grow increasingly despondent Thinking of her beauty makes me even more heartsick I must find her again Maybe I will find her presence in the mountains
